Le Rocher is nestled
in the heart of Southern Normandie, Its English owners Robert &
Graeme purchased the property in August 2004 and have now fully
restored this beautiful hunting villa whilst retaining its original
features.
Southern Normandie is known as the “Parisiens Playground”
justifiably so as within one hour of Le Rocher you could be experiencing
the thrills of Le Mans or the delights of Honfleur with its exquisite
seafood bars and galleries, for those of us who like the French
love to “people watch” the beautiful town of Deauville
is a must.
Locally places of interest include the Museum of La Dame aux Camélias
in Gacé. The towns of Camembert, Livarot and Pont Leveque
are all within easy reach and have museums dedicated to the production
of their world famous cheeses.
Southern Normandie is also famous for the production of Cider and
Calvados which can be sampled on a visit to one of the many local
orchards.
